Our values

The Neurological Alliance will be:

Authoritative

We will speak for all groups working to improve services for people with neurological conditions. Our views will be informed by all Neurological Alliance members and, through their membership, by service-users across England.

Proactive

We will no longer be solely reactive: we will establish a campaigning agenda and work directly with any professional group or organisation that can drive implementation forward.

Independent

We will participate in key Government advisory groups, but will retain an independent voice and criticise where we see fit. As far as possible, we will fund our work through member subscriptions.

Joined-up

We will campaign across England on common themes. We will support Regional Neurological Alliances in their local campaign work. We will build close links with our member Chief Executives and campaign teams to increasingly campaign collectively.
