Our work

The Alliance has three work priorities:

1. National campaigning and enabling work for NSF implementation and raised LTNC awareness

  • We participate in policy development across government
  • We ensure that the voices of people with a neurological condition are heard
  • We are involved in monitoring NSF implementation
  • We work with regulators when implementation is poor
  • We conduct national campaigns to build commitment to better services for people with neurological conditions

2. Local campaigning and partnership working for NSF implementation

  • We support the development and strengthening of Regional Neurological Alliances
  • We foster partnership working with commissioners
  • We work to build local capacity and develop tools for local action

3. Linking and strengthening the whole neurological community

  • We provide member organisations with up-to-date information about policy changes, campaigning, NSF implementation progress and national and local initiatives
  • We work to ensure that all our member organisations, large and small are able to contribute fully to all our activities
