Brain Awareness Week 2010

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is a world-wide event, reaching large audiences across the globe. This year, Brain Awareness Week took place on 15 to 21 March. Hundreds of events took place, with a truly diverse range of activities including exhibitions, demonstrations, lectures and interactive displays, generating a huge amount of publicity.

The week is co-ordinated by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives (New York) in collaboration with the European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB; London). The Dana Alliances are non-profit organisations that promote the benefits of brain research.

Supported by the Neurological Alliance for the first time this year, many of our members took part. Ideas from this year’s campaign are on the Brain Awareness Week website

If you would like to get involved in next year’s campaign, Brain Awareness Week would be happy to discuss your ideas and help you plan your event. Contact them.
