End of Life Care for People with Dementia Conference

Time: 10am – 4.30pm
Venue: Regent’s College Conference Centre, Inner Circle,
Regent’s Park, London, NW1 4NS

The incidence of dementia is increasing with numbers set to reach 1,700,000 by 2050 providing a particular challenge to end of life care services.

There are still limited places available at this partnership event between the National Council for Palliative Care, ‘for dementia’ and the Alzheimer’s Society. This event will light the way forward for anyone involved in caring for people with dementia and provide valuable feedback on the work of the two year project.

Keynote speakers include Phil Hope MP, Minister for care services and Professor Jane Gilliard, Social Care Lead, Older People’s Mental Health Programme.

Workshops: There are workshops covering all aspects of care from using the Mental Capacity Act to user and carer involvement.

Free Publication: All attendees will receive a free copy of NCPC’s latest dementia publication to be launched on the day.
