Volunteer VacanciesTreasurerOur long-standing Treasurer, Sue Tilley, is moving on to a new role and we would like to appoint a new Treasurer by October 2007. This is a stimulating and worthwhile opportunity for someone who combines good financial skills with a desire to make a difference to the lives of people who live with neurological conditions. A commitment of approximately four hours each week should be anticipated, as well as six Executive Committee meetings each year. Committee meetings usually take place in Central London, but most other work can be done from home. This is a voluntary role, but expenses will be paid. The new Treasurer will receive training and guidance from the outgoing Treasurer. If you would like to know more about the role, or to put your name forward for consideration, please contact Lucy Brazg, Policy and Development Manager, Neurological Alliance at lucybrazg@neural.org.uk Other volunteering opportunitiesWe are always interested to hear from volunteers with administrative skills who could contribute to the work of our national office or Regional Alliances.
