A new era for the Alliance

A greaty valued member of staff, Lucy Brazg, left the Alliance on Friday 11 December. Lucy has made an immeasurable difference to the Alliance since taking up the post of Policy and Development Manager in 2007 and then Chief Executive in 2009. The Alliance’s staff and Trustees wish her all the best for the future.

Members will have heard that recruitment for a secondment from a member organisation to the role of Chief Executive has been successful and two excellent candidates shall be simultaneously undertaking this role from January.

Clare Moonan, Health Policy and Campaigns Manager at the Parkinson’s Disease Society and Chair of the Alliance’s Policy Group will be joining the Alliance for two days a week as Chief Executive (External).

Katie Smith, Executive Office and Governance Manager at the MS Society will be with the Alliance for two days a week as Chief Executive (Internal).
