Policy group

The policy group provides a space for members to input and feedback on the Alliance’s policy work, discuss key public policy issues and ensure the views of our diverse membership our central to our policy process and positions. The group plays a key role in bringing the neurological community together and maximising our collective voice.

Rare conditions subgroup

The rare conditions subgroup is our forum for members from rare conditions charities and others with an interest in this area. The group provides a space for members to share intelligence and explore issues of mutual interest to the rare condition community such as the UK Rare Disease Framework.

Mental health subgroup

The mental health subgroup is our forum for members to discuss issues and topics relating to mental health, cognitive and emotional needs. Those in our community are more likely to experience comorbid mental health conditions, often without their needs being met. The group helps to make the case for much needed improvements to mental health support for people with neuro conditions.

Industry reference group

The industry reference group is our forum for corporate supporters of the Alliance. The group provides a valuable opportunity to input into key strategic policy and evidence initiatives, and encourage collaboration across industry partners.

Neuro CEO Network

More than an opportunity to network. This group brings together chief executives from across the neurological community and chairs of Regional Neurological Alliances. This group is space to share common challenges across neuroscience and consider our collective strategy to improve treatment, care and support for people affected by neurological conditions. This group helps to identify high leverage opportunities to create meaningful change, and ensures sector expertise and resources are brought together to achieve our collective goals.
