This Neurological Alliance report shares the findings of our 2016 patient experience survey. It is a follow up to our 2014 survey. Analysis of the new survey data shows that patient experience in every area – the time taken to receive a diagnosis, access to specialists, ongoing care and support – has deteriorated since 2014.

The Neurological Alliance worked with partners including the Thames Valley Strategic Clinical Network (SCN) to produce a new commissioning brief for local commissioners, to help them to improve the services provided in community settings to people diagnosed with a long-term neurological condition.
